Mod overview

Blood Magic Mod overview:
one system, several resource economies.

Blood Magic becomes easier when you stop treating it as one crafting tree. It is a set of connected systems with different costs, storage methods, and progression gates.

01

Life Essence (LP)

The foundational resource behind altar processing and many player-linked effects. Your first job is making LP generation stable enough that progression no longer interrupts normal play.

02

Blood Altar

The central progression structure. Its tier, rune mix, capacity, and input rate determine how smoothly you can create higher-level components.

03

Soul Network

Your personal resource pool for bound and activated systems. It is related to Blood Magic progression but should be budgeted separately from the altar.

04

Demonic Will

A second resource path that powers Hellfire Forge crafting and later Will-focused mechanics. Learn its collection-and-storage loop early.

05

Sigils & Utility

These systems turn progression into daily convenience. Build a small, intentional toolkit around your actual Minecraft playstyle.

06

Rituals & Advanced Play

Large-scale structures and late-game systems reward good planning. Reserve space, understand activation, and expand toward a goal instead of building everything at once.

Design rule

Upgrade the bottleneck.

If your altar empties too quickly, more processing speed is not the answer. If your network is always empty, another decorative ritual is not the answer. Improve the resource or structure that is actually slowing your next objective.
